The 2022 Annual International Conference on Brain-Inspired Cognitive Architectures for Artificial Intelligence (BICA*AI 2022) is dedicated to the study of the challenges for developing Biologically Inspired Cognitive Architectures. As such, BICA*AI 2022 welcomes original papers that may help us to make an advance toward the understanding, design, and application of cognitive and intelligent systems, both natural and artificial.
BICA Workshop @ IVA 2021
Biologically Inspired Cognitive Architectures (BICA) are computational frameworks for building intelligent agents that are inspired by biological intelligence. Biological intelligent systems, notable animals such as humans, have many qualities that are often lacking in artificially designed systems including robustness, flexibility, and adaptability to environments. At a point in time where visibility into naturally intelligent systems is exploding thanks to modern brain imaging and recording techniques, our ability to learn from nature and to build biologically inspired intelligent systems has never been greater. At the same time, the growth in computer science and technology has unleashed enough computational power, that an explosion of intelligent applications from augmented reality to intelligent virtual agents is now certain. The growth in these fields challenges the computational replication of all essential aspects of the human mind (the BICA Challenge), an endeavor that is interdisciplinary in nature and promises to yield a bi-directional flow of understanding between all involved disciplines. Call for Papers to Information in Biologically Inspired Cognitive Architectures (BICA) based Systems (September 12-19, 2021)
This conference contributing to the 2021 Summit of the International Society for the Study of Information (IS4SI) is about how data and data architecture is used and implemented in theory and practice in agent-based systems using cognitive architectures that are inspired in large part by the human and animal mind. All aspects of information theory and information architecture in a Biologically Inspired Cognitive Architectures (BICA) based system may be covered. This conference is about information theory from the BICA perspective.

CogModel notes: ICCM16/confs/journals/Jobs
This is the first emailing for ICCM 2016. Please forward if appropriate,
and put appropriate links onto your web site.
The ICCM 2016 announcement drives this email (it will be at Penn State,
before CogSci, in August 2016, on its regular (15/18 month) schedule,
hope you can come!).
